An excellent opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to step into the leadership role as the Line Maintenance Supervisor, based in Melbourne.
Reporting: This position reports to the GME or Delegate.
Duties and Responsibilities: Ensuring compliance with Engineering Procedures and Certification requirements as identified in the Maintenance Organisation Manual and as required by the Civil Aviation Regulations, in their particular area of responsibility.Maintaining at their Maintenance Base the Engineering Infrastructure necessary to ensure that R.P.T. timetable commitments are met.Deliver general support of the broader RPT network operations.Deliver general support to the broader REX group engineering.Provide proactive leadership of Melbourne engineering base, participate in the broader engineering leadership.Monitoring and controlling costs associated with aircraft maintenance.Monitoring the serviceability of GSE.Management of Engineering Staff.Review in advance the Planned Maintenance Activities to be performed.Co-ordination of manpower, equipment, tooling, data and Aeronautical Products to ensure the timely completion of all maintenance activities.Cost control and implementation of productivity and efficiency gains.Amendment of all Regulatory and Maintenance Data held at their Base.Ensure the serviceability of tooling and equipment and the management of a Preventative Maintenance/Service Program for Ground Support Equipment.Other duties as listed in the Rex Maintenance Organisation Exposition.Key Selection Criteria Proven self starter with a flexible attitudeProven ability to manage a close knit team, but also have an ability to work unsupervisedA demonstrated willingness to accept responsibilityExperience in Airline OperationsDemonstrated ability to adhere to deadlines in a high workload environmentConditions: Salary and conditions will be discussed with the successful candidate.
