Job Description The Role: The Line Leader is a key position and plays an integral part in the business. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will work closely with other Line Leaders, Safety, Quality, Maintenance and Warehouse team members and will have up to 10 operators as direct reports. You will be responsible for leading a high-performance team while having a proactive approach to Safety, Quality and Customer Service and managing daily production operations for the line. Skills, abilities, and experience required: • Proven success leading a team in a fast-paced production environment, ideally in FMCG or the meat industry.• Strong planning, organizational and decision-making skills• Proven ability to implement process and improvement initiatives• Hands-on commitment to getting the job done and proven ability to direct and coordinate operations• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Strong organisational and time management skills• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite systems• Ability to organise, multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure• Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
