This is an exciting opportunity for a Line & Cable Trade Assistant on a permanent full-time basis at our Geraldton Depot.

Geraldton is located in the Mid-West Coastal region of Western Australia, 4 hours from Perth, where you can lose yourself in nature's wonderland with the stunning Abrolhos Islands, iconic Pink Lake, rugged Kalbarri Gorges and Wildflower Country all at its doorstep.
As well as offering best of the land and sea we can also offer great Allowances and Benefits: Availability Allowance 2 'Extra' Public Holidays annually Fortnightly RDO Option to purchase additional leave Financial Relocation Assistance (if eligible) About this role As a Line & Cable Trade Assistant you will be required to provide 'multi-skilled' non-trade support in a line & cable team environment in the construction and maintenance of the transmission and distribution electricity network in a safe, reliable and affordable manner to maintain the integrity of the network.
About you We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include: Valid WA 'C' Class Drivers Licence to business requirements Valid WA 'HR' Licence (minimum) or 'HC' Licence (as required) High Risk Crane licence class C2 (as a minimum) or C6 (as required) High Risk Licence class Forklift (as required) Relevant Network Authorisation including Construction industry white card and Basic Emergency Life Support (within the first month of employment) Prior experience in providing non-trade support in an operational team environment Demonstrate Western Power's constructive behaviours and values Joining Western Power Our people play a vital role in creating an innovative, safe, and supportive workplace, living our values and delivering exceptional service to the communities in which we operate.
