The Role:
Our Mareeba rural branch is seeking a Warehouse / Store Supervisor.
The Warehouse / Store Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the rural store and ensuring stock is stored and sold in line with legislative requirements.
Monday to Friday role, start time ranging between 7am to 8am.
Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Maintain rural store front and ensure availability of merchandise.
Ensure stock is ordered, stored, and sold in line with requirements.
Correctly display product in store in line with marketing requirements.
Schedule and assign tasks to employees working in the shop.
Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal and legislative requirements.
Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers.
Protect employees and customers by maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
About You:
To be successful in this role, applicants must have:
Sales experience in the Rural Sector.
Work experience in customer service.
Effective team management skills.
Experience working in a warehouse.
High level reasoning, problem solving, and planning skills.
Professional manner.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise competing objectives.
Superior interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to influence others.
Current & valid Forklift licence.
To be successful in this role, applicants must:
Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test.
