The Role
As a GP at Lincoln Medical Centre, you have the opportunity to provide services in many special interest fields, including family medicine, dermatology, Aboriginal health, mental health and chronic disease management.
You are also encouraged to develop your own special areas of interest.
As an accredited teaching practice, you may have the opportunity to supervise registrars, interns and medical students.
Standard consulting hours for the clinic are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm, leaving your weekends free.
Home visit appointments can be made by prior arrangement at the discretion of the GP.
Lincoln Medical Centre GPs are also given the opportunity to work in the Port Lincoln Hospital Emergency Department and Admitting Wards on a on-call rotating roster.
This is an option for our new GPs.

AHPRA + min 2 years medical work experience.
MBBS or equivalent.
Able to obtain credentials as a General Practitioner in the clinical domain of GP Medicine (emergency medicine).
Vocational Registration is desirable, but not essential.
A postgraduate qualification relevant to general practice (e.g.
Diploma of Child Health) is desirable, but not essential.
The Practice
Lincoln Medical Centre is dedicated to providing patients with a high standard of care whilst incorporating a holistic approach towards diagnosis and management of illness and injury.
Based in the heart of Port Lincoln, you will join a team of 6 full-time GPs at the privately owned practice, who provide a range of procedural and non-procedural services.
You will also be supported by an experienced team of administrative and clinical staff.
