Lincoln Electric Australia is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced National EHS Manager to develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and initiatives for our manufacturing and warehousing sites across NSW, WA and QLD.
The National EHS Manager will play a pivotal role in implementing and maintaining the WHS strategy framework and action plan. As the National EHS Manager you'll lead the development of comprehensive processes, procedures, and policies aimed at preventing injuries across manufacturing, warehouses and support offices, promoting wellbeing and cultivating a safety-driven culture and maintaining the highest standard of safety.

Key Responsibilities Develop , implement, and review safety plans, processes, policies, procedures, training, audits, and corrective action to enhance workplace safety. Bring to life, execute and maintain the National WHS Strategy and Action Plan in line with Global requirements. Develop a flexible crisis response framework that includes long-term resilience planning for various potential crises. Assess and manage risks by conducting regular risk assessments and audits to control and mitigate workplace hazards and ensure compliance. Inspect and audit manufacturing sites, warehouses, offices, processes and equipment for safety compliance. Collaborate with stakeholders to establish safety goals and strategies whilst maintaining relationships with key production and site stakeholders. Provide leadership and guidance to stakeholders on WHS protocols and regulations to ensure compliance. Investigate incidents, accidents, or near misses, safety issues and develop strategies to prevent recurrence. Organise and conduct safety training programs for employees at all levels including but not limited to informative safety inductions, toolbox talks, e-learning and safety communication. Provide reliable, consistent safety advice and guidance to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety standards, policies and procedures. Engage with the Senior Leadership team, providing strategic insights on safety performance and governance, including policy reviews and alignment with the Company's objectives. Ensure all things WHS is compliant with legislation and standards across relevant States. Manage all WHS reporting at a strategic leadership level and communicate effectively at all levels. Ideal Candidate 8+ years' experience in a National WHS Manager/Leader role. A degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering or Science, or a related field preferable; and/or Completed Apply Risk Management Processes (RIIRIS301E), Carry Out The Risk Management Process (RIIRIS402E), Implement and Maintain Management Systems to Control Risk (RIIRIS501E) and Establish and Maintain the Risk Management System (RIIRIS601E). Certification with the Australian Institute of Health & Safety (AIHS) or equivalent. Additional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) are beneficial. Proven track record in developing and implementing work health and safety management systems. Strong communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Extensive knowledge of WHS legislation, and other industry standards. Must be able to travel interstate on a regular basis and internationally as required. What's in it for you?
