ALS Water operates a modern laboratory in Scoresby (Melbourne) equipped with the latest in analytical technology.
This is a newly created position to add further capabilities to our team of LIMS Specialists.
The day to day Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Troubleshooting application issues and logging bugs where appropriate Assisting with functional testing of new features Proactively monitoring system performance Escalating issues promptly Maintaining effective communication with end users on issues and outages affecting them Providing training and end-user support Producing clear and effective training materials as required Ensuring the application is running efficiently and effectively on a day-to-day basis

The Essentials Must have expertise in LABWARE or comparable digital lab workflow software Experience working within a laboratory Sound analytical and problem-solving skills Effective written and verbal communication Ability to understand a complex business domain Strong team player who can work autonomously Self-starter with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks Ability to work under pressure A clear understanding of HSE principles and practice and commitment to safe working
