Our client is seeking an engaging Paralegal for an initial period of 6 months to be seconded to a federal government Agency.
This position will require the successful candidate to provide support to a team of lawyers within the Agency's Legal Division and manage general administrative tasks for a busy Practice area.

THE RESPONSIBILITIESThe responsibilities for the role will include:
general administrative tasks;diary management;pro-active inbox management;paralegal functions (proofreading and file management);assisting with external legal procurement;advice database searches;legal research.THE REQUIREMENTSPrevious use of Commonwealth legal matter management and/or records management software such as LEX, HPE or TRIM is essential. Previous experience in a federal government department would be highly regarded.
