About the Role
We are currently seeking a Light Vehicle Mechanic looking to gain experience in a Heavy Vehicle workshop or an experienced Trade Assistant with extensive heavy vehicle knowledge to join our New Truck Pre-Delivery Team.
In this role, you will work on:
Truck fit-ups.
Warranty campaign work.
Pre-delivery servicing of new Volvo, Mack, and UD vehicles.
This is a Monday to Friday position with overtime available, offering a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this opportunity you must be able to demonstrate experience in a similar position and possess the following:
Previous experience in a mechanical workshop or vehicle body-building environment (essential).
A qualification in Light Vehicle Mechanics (preferred) or significant Heavy Vehicle experience.
A strong commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
Attention to detail with the ability to follow technical instructions.
A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Self-motivation and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
HR & Forklift licenses (highly desirable).
