Key Responsibilities Carry out maintenance and repairs on a wide range of light vehicles in accordance with Perth and Kinross Council (PKC) and DVSA standards.
Ensure timely servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.
Work closely with the team to meet deadlines and ensure the smooth operation of the fleet.
Participate in regular shift patterns as required (details available on application).
Essential Requirements You must be a time-served Light Vehicle Mechanic.
City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent.
Solid experience in the repair and maintenance of light vehicles (MOT Tester certificate is an advantage).
A full valid UK Driving Licence is required.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Qualifications Experience with MOT and taxi testing duties (or willingness to obtain the qualifications through training).

Shift Patterns The workshop operates on a shift system, and the successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts.
