Our group has now grown to an operational workforce of over 2,800 personnel with an extensive fleet of modern vehicles and equipment that operate nationwide.THE ROLE We are currently seeking a Automotive Mechanic that specialises in light vehicles and light trucks to join our Kewdale depot team. Working Monday to Friday, 10 hour days. As a LV Mechanic you will: Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) in line with maintenance strategies on Light Vehicles and Light Trucks Ensure service sheets and Work Orders filled out correctly and maintenance systems updated accordingly Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical/air-condition components to diagnose issues accurately providing recommendations for repair Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade Fitting of accessories including Beacons, work/spot lights, stereos, revers cameras, UHF radios, off road equipment and other safety devices/systems Provide accurate duration estimates for a repair or maintenance job Road test vehicles to ensure road wroth before handed back to operations Cleaning and maintaining workshop environment and tooling ABOUT YOU To be considered you will hold the following: Light Vehicle Automotive certification Certification in automotive electrical and air-condition technology is highly desirable Experience in Toyota, Hino and Isuzu highly desirable Proficiency in identifying intricate mechanical and electronic problems across vehicle models Commitment to delivering quality work with keen attention to detail Excelling in team interactions through effective communication skills Working efficiently in fast-paced environments without compromising accuracy Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record A National Police Check IN RETURN Competitive Rates with ongoing work Career progression, we develop our leadership from within Strong organisational culture with whose core values, People, Unity, Agility, Determination and Deliver, have been a key to our continual growth and success NEXT STEP Click on 'Apply Now'
