The mobile maintenance team at Granny Smith Gold Mine have an opportunity for a Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our mobile maintenance team to at Granny Smith Gold Mine. Role Details: Reporting to the Leading Hand: Mechanical Light Vehicle and working from our large, well-equipped workshop you will be responsible providing quality and timely preventative vehicle maintenance and repairs of light vehicles. This role is offered on 8 days on, 6 days off roster, 7 nights on, 7 nights off roster and is FIFO from Perth or DIDO for local community. Employee Assistance Program Long service leave pro rata after 5 years of continuous service Paid family and domestic violence leave Educational assistance About the role: Provide reliable and accurate assistance and practical application to minimise down time and potential loss of production within the processing team Practice preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting and timely repair of plant equipment Share and display your maintenance knowledge, expertise, and practical application to minimise down time and ensure production targets are met Complete all administrative processing requirements associated with maintenance duties, such as requisitioning of parts and materials, processing maintenance orders About you: Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical (Light Vehicle) Qualification or equivalent Experience in servicing and maintaining Toyota VDJ Landcruiser's and Hilux's Experience working on Isuzu Trucks, Gen Sets and ancillary equipment etc. is desirable. Valid Manual C Class Driver's License required (HR desirable). Current High Risk Forklift and Dogging Ticket is desirable. Auto Electrical experience is desirable.
