This full-time position is for an experienced mechanic.Located in Oxenford, we are a busy light vehicle workshop seeking a qualified light vehicle mechanic.

To be considered for this position, you will be an experienced mechanic with:Minimum 2-year experienceStrong diagnostic / fault finding skillsTrade qualified (light vehicle)Excellent communication skillsBasic computer skills are an advantageThis is a great opportunity to join a market leader, in a fast-paced workshop and rewarding environment in Oxenford.
This role will have you performing a variety of tasks, including services and repair on a variety of different brands, day to day interaction with customers and quotingwhilst using your diagnostic experience to accurately fault find and repair vehicles, all while working in a fast-paced, but supportive team.General mechanical repairMinor / major mechanical repairServicingDiagnosis of engine managementBrakes and suspension on passenger, light vehicle and 4x4 vehicleTyre fitting and balance along with wheel alignmentClutch replacementTO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:Be passionate about carshave a QLD driver's licence (a must)Know your way around vehiclesHave your own toolsPerform tyre fitting and balancingBe able to perform wheel alignmentPerform quality services and mechanical repairs removing and refitting engines, timing belts and water pump in all makes and models from new to oldBe able to diagnose and trouble shoot using scan toolApplicants must have a friendly personality and the ability to work well as part of a team, as well as work independently.WE OFFER:Excellent working conditions in a friendly team environmentPlenty of benefits and reward along with completive salary $53,900-$55,000 plus superannuation
