Light Vehicle Mechanic

MECHANIC -Required for Immediate start
We are a busy family owned Tyres & Mechanical business seeking an experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our great team here at Tyrepower Monto!
Experience & Attributes we are looking for in an applicant:
Minimum of Certificate 3 Automotive Light Vehicle (with Recent experience in the Mechanical Industry)
Wheel Alignment experience preferred but not essential
Reliable & Enthusiastic
Strong Work Ethic
Good Communication Skills
Well Organised & Tidy
Able to work unsupervised
Ability to Work Well in a Team
Current Manual Drivers License
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Vehicle Logbook Servicing - Passenger, 4WD & Light Commercial Vehicles
Diagnostics - successfully identifying mechanical faults
Mechanical repairs
Brake repairs & replacements
Suspension
Driveshaft repairs & replacements
Identifying causes of irregular tyre wear
Performing Wheel Alignments & Post Alignment checks as required
Safely operating hoists and conducting road tests
Keeping work spaces clean and tidy
In short, we are looking for a mechanic who can work as part of a team, takes pride in the quality of work, is fast paced and reliable.
