We are looking for two (2) skilled and dedicated Lift Mechanics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, installing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing electric and hydraulic passenger and freight lifts, escalators, moving walkways, and other lift equipment.
Your role will require you to: As a Lift Mechanic at C&C Elevators, you will be part of a dynamic team working together to ensure the smooth and safe operation of elevators and escalators.
Your daily responsibilities will include: Analyse Blueprints: Examine blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications to plan and determine the best methods for each project.
Layout and Measurements: Measure and lay out insulation reference points accurately to ensure proper installation.
Electrical Connections : Select, cut, and connect wires and cables to terminals and connectors, ensuring safe and efficient electrical connections.
Diagnose Faults: Use advanced instruments to trace and diagnose electrical faults, quickly identifying and addressing issues.
Repair and Replace: Repair and replace faulty wiring and defective parts to maintain the reliability of lift systems.
Install Switchboards: Position and install electrical switchboards, ensuring they are properly set up and connected.
Power Supply Connection: Connect electrical systems to the power supply, ensuring all connections are secure and functional.
Circuit Testing: Test the continuity of circuits to verify that electrical paths are complete and working correctly.
Lift Installation and Adjustment: Install, test, and adjust both electric and mechanical parts of lifts, ensuring they operate smoothly and safely.
You will: Be experienced and able to work independently or in a team Have strong understanding of electric and hydraulic lift systems Have ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams Be communicative and able to liaise with clients and represent the company Be organised and hard-working Have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Hold a Valid driver's licence This position will require travel around the Sydney area.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
You must have full-time availability.
We are offering $110,000 - $120,000 p.a.
