About The Role:
The Equipment Coordinator is a pivotal role with the Physical Health Team. The Equipment Coordinator is responsible primarily for the arrangement of all equipment for our health services, such as health checks, skin checks and vaccinations. They must ensure all necessary items are in stock, tracked and arrive at their destinations on time. The Equipment Coordinator works with a wide variety of team members internally, as well as externally with parties like couriers and contractors. The Equipment Coordinator may undertake other general office duties as needed, such as administrative work and work regarding health content that falls within their professional background.
The Day-To-Day:
To effectively coordinate all aspects of equipment preparation, delivery and return of items To liaise with our courier partners to ensure the timely delivery and pick-up of any TELUS Health equipment To quality control equipment and our inventory in an effective manner, ensuring that TELUS Health staff are supplied with functional equipment and enough consumable stock to provide the service as expected To ensure compliance with cold-chain management for temperature sensitive equipment needs To provide professional customer service over the telephone, email and in-person, assisting individuals with their enquiries to the best of your abilities To maintain the shelf-life of health equipment through regular care and periodic calibration To complete and organise health records and equipment tracking in an accurate and well-maintained manner To maintain privacy of health data and participants in our services at all times, through the use of good work practices, encryption and security-conscious processes Communicate effectively with the broader team, including Program Coordinators, Health Professionals, Resourcing Coordinator and Flu Vaccination team Complete equipment calibrations and maintain records To (where possible) seek methods to improve efficiencies and processes involved in the equipment cycle to save time and/or costs To utilise your professional health background (where relevant) to assist with the development, review and implementation of new health programs and health content (such as fact sheets and health articles) About You:
High level organisation skills and attention to detail High level interpersonal and customer service skills Good understanding of project management processes. Working knowledge with MS office programs, e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams Effective communication skills with key stakeholders and the ability to identify and respond to client requirements.
