The role:No two days are the same!
A typical day can involve:
Assisting clients across the Darling Downs with their daily general activities, including personal care and meal preparation, while also facilitating community access and engagement in goal-oriented activities.Implementing approved behaviour support strategies to address challenging behaviours and maintain communication with your team to ensure holistic care and progress towards individualised goals.Prioritising the client's autonomy, dignity, and overall well-being, fostering a supportive environment that empowers clients to achieve their fullest potential.Work Hours:Well Life Services offer 24/7 care, with work hours based on a rostering system. These shifts can include:
Monday – Sunday 6am – 8pmShort shifts that can range from 2-6 hoursUpon commencement, this role will be on a casual basis. The transition to a part-time contract will be considered upon successful completion of a three-month probationary period, successful client matches, and the availability of consistent work hours as determined by the business's requirements.
