About the Role
We are on the lookout for a Lifestyle Officer (known internally as Assistant in Nursing - Wellbeing) to join our team at Shangri-La Aged Care Home in Hurstville NSW.
As a Lifestyle Officer, you will be responsible for implementing leisure, lifestyle, and therapy activities for our residents; both group and individual, that aim to improve their quality of life.
You will possess highly developed communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills, a demonstrated ability to work effectively in an inter-disciplinary team and make meaningful connections with our residents and their families.
Recognising that our Shangri-La home provides care for members of the Chinese community, prospective candidates with an understanding of the Chinese culture, and who are able to communicate and interact with our residents of Chinese heritage will be looked upon favourably, however this is not essential to be successful in the role.

Cert IV Leisure and Lifestyle (or similar)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
