About BaptistCare Orana Centre Located in the beautiful Central Coast suburb of Point Clare, Orana Centre has comfortable living at its heart. About the role BaptistCare Orana is seeking an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator to oversee the Lifestyle and Activities calendar and lifestyle care planning. The role involves developing, implementing, participating, and monitoring a Lifestyle program that optimizes the quality of life for our residents.
You will coordinate, participate, and manage events and group activities and lifestyle resources, build and develop volunteers, train and support staff in activities to ensure the provision of optimum level of person-centered service to all clients. You will drive the engagement and participation of residents into a range of social, recreational, and cultural activities, as well as mental health and wellbeing programs that empower our residents' choices and independence. In planning and organizing all recreational activity programs, you will ensure individual residents' needs, values, spiritual, and cultural preferences are taken into account.
This position is a permanent part-time role working 56 hours a fortnight.
About You MUST have Cert IV Lifestyle and Leisure or equivalent. Experience in applying adult learning principles and competencies in teaching and program development. Highly developed relationship building, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards and experience delivering learning outcomes under the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
