Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver a variety of lifestyle programs that support residents' physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to create personalised activities that reflect individual preferences.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs, implementing improvements to boost engagement and satisfaction.
Partner with healthcare professionals to align lifestyle activities with residents' care plans.
Organise and manage events, ensuring activities are well-planned and adequately resourced.
Cultivate an inclusive and positive community environment, encouraging active resident participation.
Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and feedback, and prepare regular reports for management.
Coordinate and oversee the Volunteer Program to enhance resident experiences.
Requirements: Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or equivalent).
Current NDIS clearance or progress toward obtaining one.
Level II First Aid Certificate.
At least 12 months of experience in a similar aged care role, with a strong understanding of the needs and preferences of older adults.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Creative and proactive in developing engaging, meaningful activities.
Genuine empathy, patience, and dedication to improving the lives of elderly residents.
