Your part in our Blue Care team
Employment Term: Full time (fixed term - 3 months)
Location: Labrador Aged Care Facility
Remuneration: $33.91 p/hr + 11% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances
As a Lifestyle Coordinator you'll develop and implement social and recreational activities to improve and maintain the quality of life of our residents. You'll explore the resident's interests and develop their skills to improve lifestyle choices and motivate them to participate in individual and group activities, assessing their responses and recording on a regular basis.
A key responsibility of this role will be to observe and record the effectiveness of the programs, by monitoring residents' ongoing progress and adjusting the programs to any developing needs. You might also find yourself transporting residents (as requested and approved in Blue Care vehicles) on outings and attending to resident/client personal care needs as required.
What makes a difference for us?

Diploma of Leisure and Health or Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent
Experience in a Lifestyle Coordinator role preferably with overall responsibility for a service lifestyle coordination program
Understanding of resident centred, residential based care services delivery
Effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including basic computer skills
NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
Basic experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
