Licensed Pharmacist

We have an exceptional opportunity for a Licensed Pharmacist to join our medical team. As a member of our medical team, you will be delivering high-quality healthcare services to children and their families.Job Locations: Big Springs Texas, Midland Texas, and Donna Texas.Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Dispensing prescribed drugs in a healthcare facility environment.Responsible for transferring prescriptions, handling incoming physician calls, logging data calls into the computer, and drug utilization review.Listening to patients' reports of symptoms and providing suggestions for over-the-counter medications.Requirements:Education: Doctor of Pharmacy degree (Pharm. D.). Completion of an American Society of Health System Pharmacists (AHSP) accredited residency is highly desirable. Must pass the Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Exam (MPJE) for state of operation/practice.License: Must hold a current, valid, unrestricted license in one of the U.S. states, territories, or commonwealths.Certifications: Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Advanced certifications from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BSP) or other organizations are highly desirable.Experience: Minimum of three (3)+ years.Type of Contract: W-2 or 1099Hours per week: 40 per week (this could alter pending on operational needs)Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision, 401K plan, 401K matching, paid holidays, paid time off.Housing and Travel: Economy class flight.Our selection process will involve assessing your qualifications and experience and ensuring your profile is complete as early as possible in the recruiting phase.
