The Rainbow Beach Surf Life Saving Supporters Club has a vacancy for an experienced Supporters Club Manager.
The venue is located beach side in the coastal community hub of Rainbow Beach on the magnificent Cooloola Coast.
The Supporters Club and the Surf Club are both currently trading profitably.
With guidance and effective hands-on management, the clubs will grow from this strong base, taking advantage of the unique location and building on our reputation and community involvement.
The Club has recently embarked on an extensive renovation, with more planned in the new year.
As a suitably qualified Club Manager, sound administration skills and exceptional communication skills are required to run the operations of this Licensed Club.
This is an exciting time for the Club as they look to secure a new Club Manager to build on its success and influence the future direction of this great club.
Selection Criteria: Experience at senior management level of Licensed Clubs. Ability to read, interpret and analyse club financials including Profit & Loss Statement and Balance Sheet. Strong communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and be a team leader as required. Demonstrated skill in development and implementation of club marketing and promotional programs. Strong organisational and time management skills. Demonstrated experience in gaming management, control and analysis. Demonstrated experience in beverage management and catering operations. Experience in "Point of Sale" systems. Working knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety Requirements. Ability to work nights and weekends is essential. RMLV (Responsible Management of Licensed Venues). Current RSA QLD (Responsible Service of Alcohol). Current RSG QLD (Responsible Service of Gambling). Approved Managers License QLD (Current) or the ability to gain the above credentials if not already held by the applicant within a short time frame. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following attributes: Confident in customer/member relations management. Ability to lead event teams from planning to execution of large scale events in Life Saving and Community. Ability to negotiate with suppliers, customers/members, and staff. Ability to work autonomously. High level of analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyse, perform, and prioritise under pressure.
