Bell Textron Australia offers a safe workplace with opportunities for training and personal development.About the RoleWe are seeking motivated and experienced individuals to join our Coffs Harbour or Redcliffe based teams as B1.3 Licensed Engineers across a broad fleet of aircraft types. The position involves working closely with our highly skilled team to repair and maintain aircraft in accordance with industry regulations and best practices.Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure maintenance performed on assigned aircraft is carried out to the highest possible standard in compliance with company policies and procedures and National Aviation Authority (NAA) Regulations.Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with the relevant and current Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA).Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to enhance their overall experience.Ensure all tasks are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.Work with the Quality & Safety Team to ensure aviation quality, safety, and compliance with a focus on continuous improvement.Assign and supervise tasks for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) allocated to the job and monitor their progress and paperwork.Focus on safe execution of maintenance activities while maximizing aircraft availability and ensuring a safe workspace for all employees and visitors to maintenance and engineering facilities.Some travel may be required.Essential CriteriaMust be experienced and hold qualifications on light and medium Bell, Airbus, and Leonardo model Helicopters.Must hold a current B1 or C license.Completed MEA40715 - Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) or equivalent.A minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and modifications.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with workshop managers and other staff in a busy environment with strict deadlines.An understanding of CASA regulations and compliance requirements.A keen eye for detail and a commitment to outstanding customer service.The ability to work independently.Good computer literacy and experience working with aircraft maintenance programs.Meet the requirements of the Company pre-employment drug and alcohol policy.Provide a current National Police Check.You must have the right to live and work in Australia without restriction and be able to obtain and maintain aviation and other government security clearances that may be required.Desirable CriteriaThe following Type Ratings are highly desirable: Bell 212/412, AW139, EC135, H145, PT6 series engines, and T53 series engines.In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Civil Aviation Regulations and familiarity with foreign NAA regulations.Competency in the use of computer-aided design programs will be well regarded.What we offer youPermanent, full-time opportunity working a 38hr week over 4 days, Monday to Thursday.Competitive remuneration.Training and upskilling opportunities to encourage ongoing self-development.Be part of a dynamic and innovative team.Relocation assistance available to successful applicants if applicable.Experience in a high dynamic role in a diverse workplace.If this sounds like you, please submit your application via the 'Apply for this job' link.
