VicRoads RLS, founded in August 2022 by a consortium of Aware Super, Australian Retirement Trust, Macquarie Asset Management, and the Victorian State Government, operates under a long term concession deed issued by the State Government. We work collaboratively with the Victorian State Government to ensure we fulfil regulatory requirements, deliver State projects, and safeguard customer data. The Victorian State Government retains sole responsibility for road access, infrastructure, and safety.
Salary: $59,829 - $62,223 plus Super
Tenure: Fixed term (6 months)/ full-time or part-time (3 days)

About the role:
Numbering over 800 staff, our Registration and Licensing (R&L) division significantly contributes to ensuring Victorians are safe on our roads by providing professional customer services, policy advice, and specialist services to our customers. Working as part of our North East Region , you will be predominately based out of Shepparton Customer Service Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct written, oral, and practical tests for driver's licenses. Evaluate and verify applicants' documentation to ensure eligibility. Provide clear instructions and guidance to applicants throughout the testing process. Maintain accurate records of testing results and generate reports as needed. Collaborate with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Address any inquiries or concerns from applicants and provide excellent customer service. Stay updated on changes to licensing requirements and testing protocols. What we are looking for:
Exceptional customer service skills, a positive can-do attitude with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills coupled with a strong work ethic. Adaptability, flexibility, and agility with regards to change and adopting new methods of working. A team player who is not afraid to go above and beyond where required. A full valid driver's license is required. Reasonable travel is required.
