Join us on the John Hunter Hospital Project!Multiple positions are available.Project ScopeHealth Infrastructure is redeveloping the John Hunter Health Campus to deliver enhanced facilities and provide additional capacity to meet the demands of the Greater Newcastle, Hunter New England and northern NSW regions.The ASB (Acute Services Building) is a new building that sits adjacent to the existing John Hunter Hospital, configured of:an 8-story ASB, with roughly 65,000m2 of GFA & 90,000m2 of GBAA Semi basement car park under the ASB, 4 storeys with roughly 45,000m2 GFA/GBAA new podium retail pavilion to an external terrace of the ASB with roughly 600m2 of GFAMultiple link bridges from the new ASB to the existing hospital2 off Heli Pads on the roofThe refurbishment works of the existing hospital comprise the following:Roughly 11,000m2, the primary scope within this for new Inpatient UnitsRefurbishment of the existing main entry/drop offYour OpportunityThe Licenced Electrician will be responsible for a wide range of electrical works within the hospital:Conduct installations for electrical and data communications in a quality mannerConduct fault finding of electrical and data communications when requiredConduct scheduled as well as reactive maintenance and repairsLiaise directly with clients and explain what activities have occurredComplete tasks and paperwork in a timely mannerAdhere to safety standards and procedures at all timesAbout YouWe are looking for candidates that showcase Passion, Creativity, Collaboration and Trust and should also possess:A valid Electrical License and trade qualifications (Mandatory).Registered Communications and Data Cabler with endorsements (Preferred)Strong problem-solving skills concerning technical fault findingExcellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills with an ability to build relationshipsExperience working in a commercial environment and complying with safety standardsApply today and join the Hunter and Star Team!We are always searching for candidates to join our Star Group family.
