An excellent opportunity exists for suitably qualified individuals to join the Engineering team as a full-time Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) based in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
Reporting:This position reports to the relevant base Line Maintenance Supervisor.
Position Responsibilities:Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on AAPA, Pel-Air & Regional Express Group aircraft and aircraft components within a maintenance team.Ensure all maintenance and repairs are carried out to a high standard, ensuring integrity and robustness of aircraft to meet operational requirements.Service and clean hangar, tools and ground equipment.Participate in aircraft recovery when necessary.Observe all standards and procedures contained within Civil Aviation Safety Authority regulations, as well as individual aircraft systems maintenance.Essential Selection Criteria:Airscrew Maintenance Engineering Trade Certificate/Certificate IV or small aircraft lower group licence (B1 or B2).A demonstrated ability to perform aircraft and component maintenance, modification and troubleshooting in accordance with regulatory requirements, under minimal supervision and to strict deadlines.Willingness to accept the work environment of aircraft heavy maintenance, including component repair and refurbishment maintenance.A sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and documentation.Working knowledge of WH&S procedures.A valid driver's licence.Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.A high level of motivation with a team-focused work ethic.Flexibility with working hours.Meet the necessary requirements to hold an Aviation Security Identity Card and Airside Driving Licence.Preferred Selection Criteria:Piston engine Licence.General Aviation experience highly preferred.Experience on transport category aircraft.Conditions:Terms and conditions apply as per the Regional Express Aircraft Engineers Agreement with a starting range of AUD 74K – K depending on licencing, qualifications and experience.
