We are seeking to appoint a highly competent and experienced Library Technician to provide practical and operational support to our Learning Resources team, students and staff. This is a permanent part-time (0.8125 FTE) role working across the academic term weeks (38 weeks) plus an additional 1 week during term breaks totaling 39 weeks across the year. The role will commence in January 2025.
The Role Having a high degree of knowledge and experience in library management systems, the Library Technician will undertake a comprehensive range of support functions to ensure the smooth running of the School's Library and Learning Commons and will provide sound technical and administrative assistance to the Head of Learning Resources.

Operate and maintain the School's Library Management SystemOperate and maintain the ClickView LibraryUndertake effective copy and original cataloguingCoordinate NewsCorp accountsCirculate texts, magazines, journals, digital files and resourcesSupervise students and student library committee membersPurchase and process resource orders and maintain suppliesManage and maintain Library technology and equipmentAssist with the development and maintenance of LibGuidesAssist with activities related to special events About You You will have a strong ability to provide a warm and welcoming environment as well as:
