But enough about us, let's talk about you We are in the market for two Library Officers, passionate about literacy, learning, and the community, who enjoy the rewards of a good challenge.

Working within the Library Services team, you will provide excellent customer service, develop and deliver programs, and contribute to the development of a learning community.
You will be part of a dedicated team providing a professional, dynamic, engaging, and customer-focused Library Service to the community.
Mandurah Libraries are open Monday to Sunday.
Weekend and evening work is required.
You will be required to work across our three facilities – Falcon Library, Lakelands Library, and Mandurah Library.

Ability to plan and deliver engaging learning programs.Experience working within a customer service environment where information is provided to customers, and the ability to explain information correctly and concisely.Ability to assist customers with digital technology, including library systems.Numeracy, cash handling, and cashiering skills.A current unrestricted C-A (Automatic) or C-B (Manual) class national driver's license.Previous Local Government experience is desirable.Current National Police Clearance (within 6 months of date of issue).Valid Working with Children Check.Minimum education Year 12 Achievement Certificate.Qualifications in Library and Information Services (desirable).As part of our recruitment process, you will be required to complete drug and alcohol testing.The finer details These Level 3 positions attract a pro-rata salary range of $70,866 to $76,641 gross per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
