Casual role (more than one available)  Salary (Level 2 Officer): $46.16 per hour  Based at Hilton, SA Car parking onsite   What you'll do: The City of West Torrens, Library Officers provide a very important service to our community, as our customers visit our facilities not just to borrow items, but to take part in numerous programs and access a range of services.
As one of our team, you will provide advice, support and high-quality customer service to the community visiting the Hamra Centre Library.
In this role you will undertake a variety of duties, including: Helping customers with borrowing, returning and selecting items.
Providing professional, efficient and personal service as the first line of contact.
Helping resolve issues that may arise.
Supporting our customers in using our library systems, online resources and digital technology.

You must be dependable, motivated, solution-focussed, a great communicator, love working as a team and on your own and be able to adapt efficiently to changing work environments and support others.
As this role requires work out of hours, rostered over seven days (including weekdays, evenings and weekends), it's important that you can be flexible with your availability to work.
You must also have the following essential certificate and experience: Experience with working within a Library or a customer focused role.
Safe Environment for Children and Young People Certificate (or willingness to obtain)  Department of Human Service (DHS) - Working with Children Check Certificate  In accordance with the requirements of this role, a National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months) will also be required as part of the recruitment process.
The CWT is a COVID-19 vaccinated workplace, so if successful in gaining employment with the CWT you will be required to provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status indicating you have received your two primary doses (or three primary doses if immunocompromised) or alternately your SA Health approved vaccination exemption.
