Library Services & Information Management (Education & Training) Full time Salary range of $115,335 to $129,816 + super 11.5% AtPMHC every employee plays a part in ensuring we work together to achievepositive outcomes for our community. To help us achieve this we are seeking anexperienced Library Manager to join our team. The successful candidatewill play a crucial role in managing a dynamic library system that includesthree branches and a mobile library van. This position requires a strategicmindset, overseeing day-to-day operations while also planning for the future.With a focus on innovation, the Library Manager role will be to continue tointroduce and enhance services like the highly successful "Imaginarium"– a space for creativity and learning, and the "Portal" – a gatewayto digital resources and advanced technologies.By supporting a diverse community, thismanager ensures that the libraries are welcoming hubs for learning,collaboration, and growth. Their leadership will foster engagement across allage groups, ensuring that the library evolves with community needs, whetherit's through new digital services, educational programs, or partnerships withlocal businesses and organizations.In this role, the manager will blendtraditional library values with modern advancements, always seeking ways tooffer new opportunities to enrich lives, support lifelong learning, and makethe library a key part of Port Macquarie's vision for the future.To succeed in this role you will have:Leadership andmanagement - Managing staff across multiple locations to inspire, coordinate,and support a diverse team.Advocacy andPromotion skill to enhance services and increase membership.Understanding ofLibraries and Library policies and systems.CommunityEngagement and Customer Service Skills.Strategic Planning- to develop future library needs including new facilities.Innovation andAdaptability - open to new ideas, technological advancements, and innovativeways to serve the public.
