About the Role The Library at Trinity Christian School provides a creative and comprehensive learning and teaching space for students in Years P – 12.
Staff and students have access to a wide range of varied resources that are regularly updated.
The Library Assistant is part of the School's Administration Team and works as part of a team that provides an innovative, efficient, helpful, and friendly service to the school community.
Service is provided in a manner that is God-honoring and consistent with the school's vision to provide a Christ-centered education in a learning community of Love, Nurture, and Service.
The Library Assistant is responsible to the Principal through the Information Services Coordinator and the Business Manager.
A part-time position for 45 weeks per year, with an additional 4 weeks annual leave.
Work weeks include the first week of the student term break at the end of Terms 1, 2, and 3 as well as 2 weeks before students return to school for Term 1.
Essential Criteria Appropriate qualifications, experience, and demonstrated competence in library technical support.Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.Well-developed interpersonal and customer service skills.Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Possess excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office.Experience in cataloguing, stocktaking, and other general library process tasks.Application Process Applicants are required to complete the online application form at www.tcs.act.edu.au/employment and provide an Expression of Interest and Curriculum Vitae.
