Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday - 10am - 6pm weekdays and 10am-4pm weekends.
Monday - Friday 10am-6pm

Position Overview: We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Librarian to join our team. As a Librarian, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional library services to our community, fostering a love for reading, and promoting lifelong learning.

Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations of the library, including circulation, reference services, and cataloging.Develop and implement library programs and services to meet the diverse needs and interests of patrons.Assist patrons with locating materials, conducting research, and utilizing library resources effectively.Curate and maintain the library collection, including selecting new materials, weeding outdated items, and cataloging acquisitions.Provide reader's advisory services by recommending books, articles, and other resources based on patrons' interests and preferences.Collaborate with community organizations, schools, and other stakeholders to promote literacy and educational initiatives.Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in library science to enhance library services and operations.Qualifications: Master's degree in Library Science or Information Science from an ALA-accredited program.Previous experience working in a library setting, preferably in a public library or similar environment.Strong knowledge of library principles, practices, and procedures.Proficiency in using library management systems, online databases, and other library-related technologies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patrons of all ages and backgrounds.Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities.Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and fostering a welcoming and inclusive library environment.Must have WWCC.How to apply
