We are a purpose-led member organisation striving to create greater value for our members and deliver on our purpose to be "The driving force for a better WA."We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Liability Claims Specialist to join our Claims Services team within the Home Claims business unit.
In this key role, you'll be responsible for effectively managing home liability claims and high-value recoveries while delivering exceptional service to our members.About the Role:Manage a portfolio of complex liability and recovery claims with a proactive and member-focused approach.Handle reinsurance activities, including daily management, monitoring, and notifications.Build and maintain productive relationships with legal advisors, solicitors, and service providers.Provide guidance and support to Home Claims Specialists, Home Assessors, and Team Leaders.Identify opportunities for process improvement to maximise claim recoveries.Ensure compliance with claims guidelines, service standards, and the Insurance Code of Practice.What We're Looking For:Proven ability to work collaboratively in a customer service-focused team.Strong relationship management skills with members, staff, and suppliers.Analytical mindset and the ability to make sound commercial decisions.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.Resilience in handling difficult conversations and managing competing priorities.Demonstrated understanding of liability claims management is advantageous.Familiarity with insurance contracts and general insurance legislation is desirable.Certificate IV or Diploma in General Insurance (ANZIIF endorsed) is desirable.What we can offer you:A workplace culture where our people feel valued, respected and empowered.Work in flexible ways that meet work/life commitments and support wellbeing.Be part of a purpose-led organisation that gives back to the WA community.An environment that values ongoing career development.Free Roadside Assistance and discounts on RAC products and services including Insurance, Holiday Parks and Resorts, Security, Finance and Auto Services.Opportunities for community engagement and corporate volunteering.Applications close 23rd January 2025.We encourage you to apply as soon as possible, as RAC reserves the right to close this vacancy without notice.#BetterJourneysRAC#LI-LH1
