Liability Claims Manager

Our client is a claim management specialist company who provide outsourced claim management services across all lines of commercial general insurance to two main classes of clients – self-insured larger companies and large corporate retailers, and insurance companies and their underwriting agents (insurance).

Our client is looking for an experienced liability claims manager preferably coming from a legal background to join them to assist with their continued growth.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Ownership and maintenance of a portfolio of files, ensuring early and effective liability assessment and claim resolution
Management of Trust Accounts, including payment of legal invoices and settlements
Maintenance of client relationships to achieve superior results through effective communication and negotiation
Competent use of systems and processes in claim management, adhering to internal procedures and standards
Supporting the achievement of company goals and vision through effective file and claim management, and development of new business
We are Looking for Someone With:
Bachelor of Laws and experience working on insurance claims
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
Proactive outlook with strong problem-solving skills
Solid analytical ability and attention to detail
Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
