The Ostojic Group is seeking an experienced Estimator and Contracts Administrator to join our team. This dynamic role involves a blend of estimating project costs and managing contracts, providing key support in ensuring the successful execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimating:
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for current tenders. Analyse project drawings, specifications, and requirements to determine labor, material, and equipment costs. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to refine estimates and budgets. Assess and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing. Monitor and adjust estimates as project scope and specifications evolve. Contracts Administration:
Review, manage, and administer contracts and agreements with clients, vendors, and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies. Coordinate contract changes, amendments, and variations, ensuring accurate documentation and approvals. Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries. Track project milestones and timelines to ensure adherence to deadlines. Prepare and submit contract documents for review and approval. Project Support:
Assist project managers in coordinating resources and ensuring that projects remain on budget and on schedule. Provide accurate and timely reports on project financial status. Participate in the preparation of tender submissions and bid processes. Ensure all relevant documentation, including legal and financial records, are maintained. Key Requirements:
5 years of experience in estimating and contracts administration, preferably within the civil construction industry. Formal qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Strong knowledge of cost estimation techniques and procurement processes. Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.). Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Offer:
