Chosen Family Pty Ltd is seeking passionate and experienced LGBTQIA+ Disability Support Workers to join our dynamic team in Sydney, NSW.
This is a casual role, providing flexible work arrangements to support our diverse client base.
What you'll be doing Providing personalised care and support to LGBTQIA+ clients with a range of disabilitiesAssisting with daily living activities, personal care, and community engagementAdvocating for the rights and inclusion of LGBTQIA+ individuals with disabilitiesCollaborating with allied health professionals to develop and implement tailored support plansFostering a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment for our clientsParticipating in regular training and professional development opportunitiesWhat we're looking for Demonstrated experience in providing disability support services, with a focus on LGBTQIA+ inclusion and affirmationStrong understanding of the unique challenges and barriers faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals with disabilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clientsPassion for advocating for the rights and wellbeing of LGBTQIA+ individuals with disabilitiesRelevant qualifications in disability support, community services, or a related fieldWillingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidaysWhat we offer Competitive hourly rates and flexible work arrangementsOngoing professional development and training opportunitiesSupportive and inclusive workplace cultureEmployee wellness programs and mental health resourcesOpportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of LGBTQIA+ individuals with disabilitiesAbout us Chosen Family Pty Ltd is a leading provider of disability support services in Sydney, NSW.
