Key responsibilities: Facilitate a range of individual and group evidence-based cognitive behavioural interventions within scope of practice.Administer a range of psychological assessments within scope of practice, including design, evaluate and assist in the implementation of evidence based interventions.Implement and review individual plans for clients, including regularly/proactively consult with families/advocates and Allied Health team members.Case consultation with case managers and/or leaders to facilitate the effective provision of support services to be done either separately to the case manager or jointly, depending on the clinical issues involved.St Giles requires the following from you: AHPRA registration as a psychologist.Experience working with vulnerable cohorts in a general capacity within the health, employment, education or disability sector.Demonstrated understanding of evidence-based best practice standards for a range of presenting issues.Proven capacity and ability to work with professional integrity and support vulnerable people.A strong understanding of policies, procedures and regulations including mandatory reporting obligations.Knowledge and understanding of current mental health issues in Australia including its impact on client presentations and needs.National Police Check (no older than 3 months).Current or ability to apply for Working with Vulnerable People Card/NDIS Worker Screening Check.What we offer: Community focused employer.Supportive and collaborative team environment, including flexible working conditions.Salary Packaging.Health and wellbeing programs including EAP and corporate health insurance discount.Career development and training opportunities.The opportunity to mentor and supervise new graduates and students.If you are interested in learning more about St.Giles, our culture and some of our initiatives, please explore our website.
