Our clients may have physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions, intellectual disabilities, or autism. We're honored that many of our clients rely solely on InLife for their essential support needs.
To do a great job, you'll need: Good judgment and common sense, listening skills, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to our values. Experience with catheter care, peg feeding, and bowel care. Experience in seizure management (midazolam trained). Experience in personal care (showering and dressing) and assistance with domestic duties. Experience supporting people with a physical disability, including transfers/use of equipment, and confidence in hoisting. Great patience and willingness to build rapport with your client. Experience in mental health and behaviors of concern would be an advantage but not essential. Enthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live great lives. Commitment to working with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals. Full driver's license and willingness to provide transport in your own vehicle (costs reimbursed). Willingness to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, short shifts, sleepovers, and active night shifts. **Please note - when you apply you will receive an email asking you for some further details - please look out for it!
