Job Title: Regional Sales Manager
Job Objective: The sales manager is responsible for managing a given territory to achieve business targets (both strategic and fiscal) by selling Motorola smartphones through the distributors.
Position Summary: Business Unit: MBG Function: Sales Job Family Group: Sales Band: 7 Job Family: Channel Sales Location of Posting: Ahmedabad Geographical Area of Work: Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan Travel Requirements: Yes Remote Work Environment: Yes Position Reports to: Functional Manager: India 2 Lead Dotted Line Manager: – Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Manage end-to-end business at the Key accounts with regards to sales and retail marketing deployment. Drive Sellout for all Key account partners (GT & LFR). Ensure growth of Lenovo in terms of T3 reach. Ensure minimum threshold levels of extraction. Lead the third-party executives (who are dedicated to Motorola) for managing them and helping achieve the sales objectives via them. Manage the Promoter Program from a productivity & hygiene perspective for the key accounts. Ensure in-store & out-store visibility as per the Organisation's Planogram. Ensure hygiene of permanent and semi-permanent fixtures deployed by the Organisation. Ensure upward movement of the Key Accounts: B to A, A to A+ as per targets specified by the organization. Ensure stock & adequate range availability at any given point of time. Draw & execute a marketing calendar for his accounts. Engage with the RD to ensure proper Team deployment, adherence to beat plans, timely stock deliveries, claim & issue settlement. Maintain a minimum Retail Satisfaction Score (external agency). Key Performance Indicators: Premium Mix and Misc: Achieve premium mix on high-value phones. Sellout: Achieve growth of sellout over previous year as per targets. Coverage: Achieve growth of the number of counters as per plan. Sell through: Achieve 100% target for sell-through for all RD partners. Specifications and Requirements: Education/Qualification: Must Have: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration or a related discipline and/or MBA. Desired: Postgraduate degree. Work Experience: 4+ years of marketing and sales experience. Key Functional/Technical Competencies: Ability to multi-task, research and analyze different broker, distribution and retail situations. Strong presentation, sales, negotiation and influencing skills. Advanced Computer experience (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet). Understanding of the Handset industry. Key Behavioral Competencies: Persuading and influencing. Innovating and researching. Adapting and responding to change. Achieving personal work goals and objectives. Leading and initiating action.
