Long-term project - Enjoy stability and longevity in this drive the delivery of this high-level a high-performing Commercial. The role: Lendlease ACT currently have an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to join their team in Canberra and support the delivery of a soon to commence $600m.
As a Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of all commercial aspects of your project, including:
Administration of the head contract and subcontracts Developing the procurement strategy and processes Outlining cost controls, budgets, and managing project cash flow Ensuring that contracts and documentation contain the necessary EH&S inclusions As this is a leadership role, you will also lead and mentor the commercial and administration project team.
To be successful, you will need:
A construction management, building, engineering, or quantity surveying degree or equivalent coupled with 10+ years industry experience in the construction industry, ideally on projects above $100 million. Expertise in contract management, construction law, quantity surveying, program financial management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting, budget preparation and administration. Experience managing and developing teams of junior staff, strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience managing groups of high-level stakeholders, both internal and external.
