IMB Bank has an exciting opportunity to join our Lending Services Administration team in assisting our members achieve their financial dreams. As an integral part of this dynamic and successful team, you will act as the first point of contact between IMB branches, Lenders, Managers, Assessors and our lending customers in all facets of the administration process for our commercial loans. With four components to this role, Member Support, Mortgage Accounts, Settlements and Securities, we welcome your experience within a retail/commercial banking environment to assist us in ensuring all loans and accounts are administered and funded promptly.
The Role

Ensuring a high level of service delivery, providing advice and assistance to our loan customers and staff regarding loan payout figures, break out costs, loan statements, loan terms, lump sum payments and any other mortgage-related enquiries.
Attending to settlements including liaising with solicitors and mortgagees.
Arranging for production of documents for registration.
Daily loan funding review.
Provide guidance on complex loan matters.
Review, maintenance and actioning of regulatory and other reports.
Participation in process and project enhancements.

Administration skills with a strong eye for detail.
A positive and can-do attitude who genuinely enjoys helping others and working together to achieve common goals.
The ability to identify issues/roadblocks and work through to effective solutions.
The genuine desire to learn and a mindset for continuous improvement.
A high level of computer/digital literacy, particularly MS Office.
Effective communication skills both verbally and written, particularly dealing with Third Parties/Legal Representatives.
The ability to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines within a structured and regulated banking environment.
Experience within a retail/commercial banking environment, particularly in residential lending or PEXA settlements is advantageous.

Our Head Office is located in Wollongong and is a fresh, newly constructed state-of-the-art building with great amenities and close to shops, cafes and the beach. The successful candidate will be required to attend the office under our hybrid working model.
