In your role, you will provide and promote leisure activities that will engage resident participation. Bring your innovative and creative style to develop recreational activities that both stimulate and provide entertainment for all residents. You will build strong relationships with our residents through encouragement, activity engagement, and communication. No matter your role, it takes a real love of caring, a willingness to jump in and do the work, and a genuine desire to make a difference. As a Leisure and Entertainment Officer, you'll also need:
Must be able to work weekendsCurrent First Aid certificateCompleted a Certificate III or above in Aged care or Lifestyle (desirable)Good communication skills (verbal and written)Creative mindsetPrevious experience working with the elderlyDemonstrated computer literacy skillsDemonstrated organisation skillsThe locations | A home to belong to
