Unique opportunity to play a significant role in leading the development and implementation of a new Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Protection Act.
About the role As Project Manager, you will lead, develop and manage the introduction of a new Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Protection Act and other proposed legislative reform as required. This new Act will replace the Aboriginal Heritage Act 1975 and is a strategic commitment of the Government.
You will report directly to the Director of Aboriginal Heritage Tasmania and work with a small team to deliver the project.

Hours per fortnight 73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
Period of appointment 2 years.
Minimum Requirements: Registration to "Work with Vulnerable People" as required under the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013. A degree or an equivalent qualification relevant to the nature of the work to be undertaken, as provided by a university, a vocational education organisation or a registered and accredited training provider. A current motor vehicle driver's licence.
