We are seeking talented System Administrators to support our exciting classified programs within the intelligence space.

Job DescriptionYour primary focus is to maintain the smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.
This involves providing overall management of large scale operational systems, undertaking systems administration tasks in support of major databases and applications, providing level 2/3 support to users and customer management personnel on systems technical issues, recommending, implementing, installing and maintaining appropriate technology to meet client needs, defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, drawing valid conclusions and preparing appropriate reports, and detecting, isolating and resolving automated information system problems.
This role can be based in Melbourne CBD, Scoresby and Canberra.
QualificationsExcellent stakeholder engagement skillsThe desire to support mission critical classified programsSystems Administration experience in UNIX Administration – Solaris and/or Linux, Windows Administration – Client (Win7) and server (2003/2008/2012/2019), Oracle or similar database experience, Virtual server administration, NetApp and SAN administration, Virtual applications – App-V, VSphere, ability to create advertisements, collections and packages within SCCM environment, patch management WSUS, scripting – Active Perl, PowerShell, containerization (Kubernetes/Dockers)Due to the nature of work we do for our customers, all applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a TSPV (Positive Vetting) clearance.
Applicants may also need to meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements.
