Working with us gives you a great opportunity to drive the business by managing key accounts within the LEGO Branded Retail Channel and providing a unique and engaging retail experience to our shopper and consumer at the LEGO stores.
This is a 12-month contract position for parental leave. No relocation assistance is offered for this position. Core ResponsibilitiesPro-actively manage accounts in two locations (LEGOLAND Discovery Centre at Melbourne, LEGO Certified Store Dreamworld at Gold Coast)Implement Joint business plan 2025: Deliver 2025 commercial targets by implementing established Joint Business Plan with the accounts, inclusive of financial inputs, managing internal & retailer P&L along with investment plansStore management: Based on marketing campaigns and activation plans, work closely internally and with retailer to ensure flawless execution across all activationsCustomer demand planning: Partner with operations colleagues to continue collaborative planning process with retail partners. Drive alignment between internal and external customer sales plansInventory planning & management: Work closely with operations and supply planning colleagues to actively manage retailer inventory. Support short/mid-term demand signal and order flow via consistent communication and information transparencyTeam leadership: Positively contribute to team dynamics as well as in the broader organisation by fostering an environment that is conducive to respect, constructive challenging, mutual support, openness to diverse points of view, and creative thinkingLCS staff training: Provide world-class training to LCS staff by regularly engaging with global/regional training team and providing relevant material to LCS partners. Support onboarding new stores and new store managers and oversee engagement and completion of training program run by LCS partnersNPS tracking: Engage LCS partners to boost response of NPS from shoppersThis associate manager role is responsible to manage two unique accounts within the LBR channel. The person in this role will handle two business partners in a channel that requires great agility and flexibility. In addition, Results Orientation and Relationship Elevation are critical to the rolePlay your part in our team succeeding! Branded channel business (LCS/Merlin) plays a critical role in the LEGO group to deliver inspirational experience to shoppers and consumers. It is also a strategically important channel to grow our business in terms of both commercial performance and further brand building in Australia & New Zealand. Our ambition is to build uniquely branded retail experiences and deliver strong brand value to shoppers and consumers. You will lead the development of unique and powerful experiences in the LEGO store by collaborating with external partners and internal collaborators.
Do you have what it takes?Bachelor's degree in a Marketing related field or equivalent working experienceMinimum 3+ years related experience in consumer packaged goods or fast-moving goodsDemonstrated account management skills with an insights-based approach to selling that builds effective solutionsDemonstrated proficiency in effective negotiation, thoughtful planning, collaborative inventory management, and analytical thinkingStrong professional abilities, including a solid understanding of business operations, a collaborative approach, effective communication skills, and team-oriented attitudeAbility to prioritise tasks and coordinate activities across multiple functions by applying strong planning and organizational skills, resulting in efficient and timely executionSelf-motivated, creative and results driven with an ability to think critically, interpret trends, and challenge the status quoApplications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
