Legion Drilling Australia is a specialist provider of Environmental and Geotechnical drilling services to leading consulting firms. Our clients are a diverse range of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
We are now looking for a mechanical/drill fitter to join our team in Pinkenba QLD.
This position will provide a great variety of work experience, constantly challenging with great opportunities for training and career development. Equipment includes drilling rigs, compressors, pumps, and heavy vehicles. Successful applicants will be required to be on call for 1 week per month and will need to do occasional travel to attend breakdowns or service equipment in remote locations.

Responsibilities: Diesel engine diagnostics and repair. Basic welding and fabrication. Heavy equipment rebuilding and refurbishing. Maintenance of heavy drilling equipment. Understanding of hydraulic systems. Electrical fault finding. Willing to travel occasionally for breakdown assistance or planned maintenance (Rostered). A love of machines and a passion for understanding them. Computer literacy and a willingness to embrace new technologies. Enjoy working in small teams to overcome challenges. A desire to learn and grow. Required Qualifications: Able to pass fitness for work medical. Able to pass police clearance without criminal conviction. In return you will receive: Job security.
