Job Details

2 x full-time temporary roles – 12 months with possibility of extension (willing to consider part time – minimum 3 days per week) 35 hours per week Location: 1 based in Sydney CBD and 1 based in Newcastle (2 roles in Sydney may be considered). Flexible and hybrid working options available. Clerk Grade: 3/4. Base salary $79,032 p.a. to $86,539 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading.

The Estate Planning & Administration division is responsible for delivering NSW Trustee & Guardian's commercial services in Will making, as trustee, attorney, and as administrator/executor of deceased estates. The teams administer assets in accordance with the functions and obligations under the relevant legislation and make legal decisions within legal frameworks and NSWTG's prescribed delegations. The division delivers high quality service using a customer-centred approach and is delivered by: Estate Administration Trust and Powers of Attorney Administration Intestate, Life Estates and Crime Confiscation/Civil Forfeiture administration Wills and Estate Planning

About The Role

You will be a key point of contact for customers and other stakeholders and will provide a range of administrative support services including but not limited to preparation of correspondence, legal documents (such as Wills, powers of attorney and appointment of enduring guardian), data entry, safe custody processes and maintenance of files. As an ideal candidate: You possess strong customer service and communication skills You are confident and experienced in a wide range of administrative duties You take pride in your ability to manage competing priorities in a high workload volume environment, and work collaboratively with stakeholders and other teams

Demonstrated experience as a paralegal or in a legal support role Willingness to have phone calls and team email accounts monitored for quality assurance and training purposes, and to participate in one-to-one review sessions for calls and emails.
