Legal Secretary

Permanent full time for a dedicated and experienced legal audio typist / administration assistant to join this firm of Family Lawyers.
Howe Jenkin is a small, specialised family law practice, based in the Adelaide CBD.
Reporting to the Office Manager, the position of Legal Secretary is an integral role within the administration support for the firm. Primarily, this involves daily audio typing of legal correspondence and various documents, including preparing and finalising court papers, conducting searches, and collating enclosures and briefs as required.
Administration tasks consist of file maintenance, filing, client calls, and supporting the team of 6 administration staff.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven working background in the Legal sector (Family Law preferred)Sound computer skills in MS Office suite (Affinity Software an advantage)Accurate touch typist (BigHand audio typing)Accustomed to working in a heavily paper files officeWell-developed communication and professional presentation.As an accomplished Legal Administrator with sound audio typing skills, you will be renowned for your excellent time management, attention to detail, and accuracy in producing high-quality legal documents.

Salary is commensurate with skills and experience. Full-time hours are from 8:45 am to 5:15 pm, based in the heart of Adelaide CBD. Public transport is readily accessible.
