Every member of our team is focused on the delivery of exceptional outcomes for our clients and to providing a level of service that is second to none.Our roleThe team is seeking an experienced Family Law Secretary who is committed to providing exceptional support to practitioners within the team and also our clients.This is a full-time role, joining a team of 4 other Secretaries/Legal Assistants.To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a secretarial role in a law firm, and previous experience in Family Law will be highly regarded. You will be capable of managing an extremely busy workload and thrive working in a fast-paced environment as well as be able to prioritise and be self-motivated. You must possess impeccable communication skills and strong word processing abilities.A high level of attention to detail, organisational skills and teamwork are essential for this role. This role will support a very busy team and as such, there is a high volume of work including dictation, brief preparation and administrative tasks such as filing and archiving. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, you will need to possess a high degree of empathy and commitment to confidentiality and privacy.Some of your responsibilities will include:monitoring emails and taking telephone calls;word processing and amendments;diary management;monthly billing;other ad hoc duties as required.The ideal candidate will be proactive, have terrific attention to detail, and be constantly looking for ways to improve the efficiency of the group.
